Job Opportunity: Tax Expert

We are seeking a seasoned and meticulous tax professional to join our team.

  • Tax Compliance & Filings
    • Prepare and submit timely monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (Income Tax, Sales Tax, WHT, etc.).
    • Ensure submission of all tax-related documents and payments to regulatory authorities.
    • Maintain proper documentation for tax audits and inspections.
  • Tax Planning & Advisory
    • Assist in strategic tax planning to optimize tax liabilities within legal frameworks.
    • Provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
    • Keep management updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Reporting & Reconciliation
    • Reconcile tax balances in financial statements.
    • Monitor input/output tax adjustments and maintain accurate ledgers.
    • Support preparation of tax provisions and disclosures in financial reporting.
  • Coordination & Audit
    • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
    • Support internal and external tax audits, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
    • Collaborate with accounts and finance teams for smooth data flow and accurate reporting.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: ACCA, CA Inter, MBA (Finance), M.Com, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in taxation (corporate/industry experience preferred).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SAP B1 (mandatory/preferred) and MS Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of Pakistan Income Tax Ordinance, Sales Tax Act, and Withholding tax rules.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
