We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bidder to manage our Upwork profile, focusing on generating leads, submitting proposals, and securing projects.
This role requires close collaboration with the development team to ensure continuous growth of our client base and securing high-quality projects.
- Search for relevant job postings on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
- Write and submit tailored proposals addressing the client's needs and showcasing our services.
- Communicate effectively with potential clients to clarify project requirements and discuss solutions.
- Negotiate terms and close deals with clients.
- Coordinate with the development team to ensure proper alignment with the client's needs and timelines.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service.
- Manage and update the Upwork profile ensuring it is up-to-date with portfolio items, testimonials, and relevant content.
- Track and manage the status of all proposals and projects providing regular updates to the team.
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- An intermediate or bachelor's degree with 1 year+ prior experience in sales roles within the IT industry.
- Experience in US, UK, &/or EU markets.
- Experience in submitting proposals and bidding on Upwork.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written English to create compelling proposals.
- Ability to understand technical project requirements and communicate them clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with web and app development services is beneficial.
