Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Grid Manager to oversee Non-Telco activities within their respective grids. Key responsibilities include ensuring network availability, managing network operations, and handling MS-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Network Availability: The successful candidate will monitor grid performance, ensure compliance with network KPIs, and perform timely preventive and corrective maintenance of the Access Network and Gen-sets.
  2. OPEX Management: The Grid Manager will manage resources like cluster owners, riggers, and fueling teams, coordinating with regional FOPS managers and TGLs to allocate targets and KPIs monthly.
  3. Team Management: The incumbent will assist and manage resources, coordinate with regional teams, and evaluate performance regularly.
  4. Network Operations: The Grid Manager will ensure network availability, manage network utilization, and handle MS-related issues effectively.
  5. Issue Resolution: The successful candidate will lead MS field teams for issue rectification, monitor grid performance, and oversee activities of field teams.
  6. Quality Assurance: The Grid Manager will conduct field audits for assigned grids, submit detailed reports, and review KPI scores with managers.
  7. Vendor Coordination: The incumbent will follow up with vendors to resolve snags identified during audits or alarms.
  8. Standards Compliance: The Grid Manager will ensure maintenance of Telco and Non-Telco infrastructure as per standards.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum DAE / BTEC in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institution; BE / BSc preferred.
  • Work Experience: 3+ years.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ownership, strong communication, follow-up, team management, problem-solving, and technical operational skills.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, confidence, time and stress management, strong knowledge of DGs, DC systems, RMS, and hands-on experience with AC & DC power systems.
