Safeguarding information systems and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations is a top priority in this role.

As a Level 1 SOC Analyst, you will implement advanced security measures to protect our IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include managing incidents, securing cloud infrastructure, and monitoring threats to ensure data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor security alerts from SIEM tools like Azure Cloud Defender.
  • Provide initial analysis and response to security incidents, including phishing attempts, malware infections, and network breaches.
  • Engage in endpoint security monitoring, including core Windows processes, event logs, Sysmon, and endpoint detection tools.
  • Collect and analyze security data from EDR and SIEM tools for incident investigation and response.
  • Assist senior analysts with incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Document all activities, including incident tracking and report writing.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging threats and security trends through continuous learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Cyber Security.
  • 0-1 years of experience in IT Security.
  • Understanding of cloud-based IT infrastructure.
  • Good reporting and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of basic IT security concepts.
  • Knowledge of Incident Management Processes.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Azure Cloud Defender, Manage Engine, or Cloudflare.
  • Knowledge of SIEM solutions and EDR.
