About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for formulating and implementing strategic business plans, monitoring financial operations, and overseeing the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to make informed decisions that drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement strategic business plans to achieve organizational goals.
  • Monitor and direct financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments.
  • Develop and manage financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Analyze financial data to inform business decisions.
  • Identify and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.
  • Maintain relationships with external auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA or CA.
  • At least 10 years of experience in finance, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
