Job Title: Assistant Manager Design

We are seeking an experienced design professional to oversee the planning, designing, and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across projects.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in MEP load calculations, BOQ preparation, equipment selection, and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with local codes and project requirements.

  • Lead the design and coordination of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems across projects.
  • Perform load calculations and equipment selection to ensure system efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure all design deliverables comply with local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical design issues during project development or execution.
  • Prepare comprehensive MEP BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and align them with procurement and budgeting teams.
  • Create and maintain detailed drawings, SLDs, specifications, and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in the MEP industry.
  • Strong command over MEP design principles, AutoCAD, and related design tools.
  • Working knowledge of local compliance codes and construction standards.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, construction, and QA/QC.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
