Job Description:
Codesbyte seeks a skilled Security Engineer to analyze software designs and implementations from a security perspective, identify and resolve security issues, and ensure robust and reliable software.

Responsibilities
  • Implement advanced security techniques: Comply with technical reference architecture and continuously improve software security through ongoing testing and code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues: Resolve problems that arise and maintain technical documentation to support the team.
  • Develop secure software solutions: Provide engineering designs to mitigate security vulnerabilities and contribute to all levels of the architecture.
  • Maintain expertise: Develop familiarity with new tools and best practices in cybersecurity.

Requirements
  • Experience: Proven work experience as a software security engineer is required.
  • Technical knowledge: Detailed understanding of authentication, authorization, cryptography, and security vulnerabilities is essential.
  • Programming skills: Experience in Ruby on Rails, Java, Javascript, or .NET is necessary.
  • Knowledge of web technologies: Familiarity with web applications, services, and protocols is required.
  • Passion for security research: Interest in all aspects of security research and development is highly valued.
  • Educational background: A BS degree in Computer Science or a related field is necessary.
