The Experience:
We are seeking a skilled and expert Splunk Administrator/Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling Splunk Cloud and Head forwarder on Linux systems.
Key responsibilities include keeping all Splunk apps up to date, onboarding log sources, and developing sophisticated security use cases using Splunk Processing Language (SPL).
The Information Security Engineer should be experienced in system architecture, design, engineering, and deploying data security applications over hybrid environments that include on-premise and public clouds.
What you'll need…(Required)
- Regularly review Travel and Expense (T&E) policies and procedures & highlight the areas of improvements.
- Verify that all necessary supporting documentation, such as receipts and invoices, is attached to the expense reports.
- Ensure that reimbursement requests align with the company's reimbursement policies and guidelines.
- Verify that expenses are allocated to the correct cost centers or expense types.
- Coordinate with finance teams & process reimbursement requests in a timely manner.
- Participate in special projects, support testing and training needs.
- Analyze expense data and trends to identify deficiencies & opportunities.
- Conduct training & awareness sessions to enhance compliance to policy.
- Communicate with employees to resolve any issues or discrepancies in their expense reports.
- Generate reports and summaries related to reimbursement activities for management and auditing purposes.
What you'll need…(Preferred):
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Strong general system administration knowledge and skills in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Licenses and Certifications: Splunk Core Certified User, Splunk Cloud Certified Admin, Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect.
- Experience working with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
