The Aga Khan University Hospital is a healthcare institution that offers comprehensive medical services to its patients. In addition to its tertiary care hospital in Karachi, it has a network of secondary care hospitals and medical centers across Pakistan. The hospital provides home healthcare services and delivers medicines to patients' homes.
The Department of Emergency Services at the hospital offers multiple specialties under one roof, enabling doctors from different services to work together seamlessly. This multidisciplinary approach results in effective patient care.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for providing support to the Chair in managing finance, administration, personnel, and logistics functions of the department. Your tasks will include preparing schedules, arranging logistics, collecting evaluations, and maintaining office supplies.
- Prepare schedules for faculty tutorials and case presentations.
- Manage office supplies, including stationery, and purchase requests.
- Provide facilitation to rotating residents for timely submission of PGME forms.
- Assist the PGME program director and coordinator with assigned tasks.
- Compile residents' data and prepare quarterly letters for feedback.
- Follow the exit list of PGME, collect office accessories, and ensure timely completion.
- Assist the Chair/designee in preparing departmental budgets and participating in meetings.
- Facilitate faculty members for official travel and provide logistic support.
- Conduct patient quality rounds/quality technical rounds daily/weekly.
You should have:
· A Bachelor's degree or Master's from a recognized institute.
· At least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Fluency in written and spoken English.
· Proficiency in MS Office.
