Financial Systems Specialist

Our organization seeks a seasoned SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) specialist to design, implement, and maintain SAP FI/CO modules that fulfill business needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze financial data, guarantee seamless system integration, and support financial operations using SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. SAP Module Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain SAP FI/CO modules to meet business requirements.
  2. Financial Data Analysis: Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate financial data into SAP FICO solutions.
  3. SAP Expertise: Provide expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders.
  4. System Quality Assurance: Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve SAP FICO-related issues, ensuring smooth financial operations.
  6. Knowledge Sharing: Maintain documentation for SAP FICO configurations, processes, and user guides.
  7. User Support: Conduct end-user training and provide ongoing support to optimize SAP FICO utilization.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborate with other SAP module specialists (e.g., SD, MM, PP) to ensure seamless system integration.

Requirements:

  1. Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  2. Professional Experience: Proven experience as an SAP FICO Specialist or in a similar role.
  3. SAP Knowledge Base: Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO module processes and functionalities.
  4. Implementation Skills: Hands-on experience in SAP implementation and customization.
  5. Programming Skills: ABAP programming skills for debugging purposes.
  6. Integration Understanding: Understanding of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP).
  7. Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Effective Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Team Player: Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  10. SAP Certifications: Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus, SAP FICO certification is a plus.
