Logistics Support Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all freight-related activities to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, shipment coordination, and post-shipment issue resolution. As a Logistics Support Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, sales, and project management to facilitate order management, verify shipping data, and optimize transportation solutions.

The key responsibilities of the Logistics Support Manager include:

  • Completing auditing and reporting of all freight related invoices via Matched/Unmatched report and EDI portal, confirming invoices are ready for payment to carriers.
  • Managing day-to-day interactions with 3rd party auditor and internal finance team, including resolving issues with payments, late fees, and file data.
  • Processing freight related cases returns, re-routes, claims cases, and auditing them to ensure correct billing customer vs. Zones responsibility, best ship method, etc.
  • Supporting sales/PMO/Deployment with order management in CE to ensure orders can ship from TSC as needed.
  • Resolving post-shipment resolutions, i.e. serial number and tracking validation, package research, etc.
  • Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments, maintaining special project schedules as needed.
  • Collaborating with sales and Project managers to ensure orders are shipped in the most efficient and cost-effective ways possible.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in transportation and warehousing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with, present information to, and respond to questions from team members, other departments, administrators, general public, customers, and contracted suppliers.
  • Able to perform duties and tasks with an awareness of all documented policies and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to work independently and solve practical problems in situations where only limited standardization exists.
