About the Job

This Junior Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer role is ideal for those looking to start their career in systems analysis and technical documentation.

As part of our team, you'll be responsible for supporting the development of an AI-powered writing assistant, which requires strong analytical and communication skills.

Your primary duties will involve gathering and analyzing business requirements, creating and managing system analysis and business requirement documents, and collaborating with senior team members to develop data flow models and process diagrams.

A key aspect of this role is ensuring quality assurance through system testing post-modifications. Additionally, you'll prepare reports and summaries for review by senior management and provide basic technical support and troubleshooting as needed.

We're looking for candidates with strong organizational and communication skills, who can work effectively in a team environment. If you're a fresh graduate or have up to 1 year of experience in systems analysis, IT, or a related field, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to support the development of the AI-powered writing assistant.
  • Create and manage system analysis and business requirement documents, including:
  1. System Requirements Specification (SRS)
  2. Business Requirements Document (BRD)
  3. Functional Requirements Document (FRD)
  4. Use Case Descriptions
  5. Wireframe Design

Collaborate with senior team members to create data flow models and process diagrams.

Participate in system testing post-modifications to ensure quality assurance.

Prepare reports and summaries for review by senior management.

Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting as needed.

Deliverables include:

  • Drafts of SRS, BRD, and FRD documents.
  • Basic wireframe designs for user interfaces.
  • Simple flow diagrams and data models using tools like UML.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • IT Business Analysis: Basic understanding of analyzing business needs and documenting system requirements.
  • Technical Writing: Ability to write clear and concise documentation.
  • Diagramming (UML): Familiarity with creating basic flowcharts and diagrams.
  • Fluency in English: Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in systems analysis, IT, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
