Business Development Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach activities.

  • Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Additionally, the role involves assisting in the development and implementation of strategic sales plans to achieve business growth targets.
  • A key aspect of this position is conducting market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.

As a business development professional, you will prepare and present effective business proposals and presentations to potential clients.

Negotiation skills are essential in this role, as you will negotiate contracts and agreements to close business deals successfully.

Collaboration with internal teams, including marketing and product development, is crucial to enhancing service offerings.

You will track and analyze sales performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies.

Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue in the CRM system is vital.

Providing regular reports to management on business development progress and opportunities is also a key responsibility.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
