Job Title

Treasury Specialist

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure seamless connectivity of treasury systems at primary and disaster recovery sites.
  • Coordinate with banks to open money market deals and prepare memoranda of agreement.
  • Collaborate closely with the central bank for treasury functions, updating banking processes and systems accordingly.
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the treasury back office operations department.
  • Prepare and maintain a treasury blotter, coordinating with the front office.
  • Update account balances and real-time gross settlement inflows for treasury front office visibility.
  • Authorize customer outflows and money market deals on core banking and treasury systems.
  • Authorize customer RTGS transactions on the central bank controller.
  • Ensure timely dispatch of treasury bills and PIB maturity letters to the central bank.
  • Manage RTGS final positions according to defined turn-around times.
  • C-coordinate external and internal audits.
  • Assist the development team in implementing SBP STP processes.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as required.
Technical Competencies
  • Proficient in using MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • Strategic planning.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in finance; master's preferred.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in finance or treasury operations.
