Job Title: Network Operations Specialist

About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills. As a Network Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Value Added Services (VAS) and Home Location Register (HLR) networks.

Your primary focus will be on day-to-day network operations, including maintenance, configuration management, fault management, performance management, network audits, health checks, vendor management, and project execution. You will also be responsible for handling customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Operations: Ensure the availability and reliability of our VAS and HLR networks, including 24/7 support.
  • Customer Support: Provide timely and effective resolution to customer complaints, both corporate and commercial.
  • Configuration Management: Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date configurations of our network equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex network issues, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in network operations, including experience with SMSC, anti-spam, and firewalls from vendors like Huawei, ZTE, or HLR/HSS from Nokia. You should also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of GSM and Messaging Call flows, IP protocols, signaling, and troubleshooting.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams, drive innovation, and implement process improvements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
