Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead high-performing engineering teams focused on AI system reliability and efficiency.
  • Detect, diagnose, and mitigate failures and degradation across AI features in production environments.
  • Design tools and dashboards to surface anomalies and performance regressions.
  • Drive initiatives to improve monitoring, observability, and data quality within the organization.
  • Oversee data analysis and annotation processes to enhance model performance.
  • Develop technical documentation for AI workflows and pipelines.
  • Monitor key AI performance metrics and implement optimization strategies.
  • Champion a culture of ownership, rigor, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Coordinate data insights with research groups to improve product and customer experience.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience managing high-performing engineering teams in AI or production systems.
  • Strong understanding of AI feature development lifecycles and data pipelines.
  • Proven experience with root cause analysis, reliability engineering, or debugging complex distributed systems.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to dig deep into data.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with ML researchers, product managers, and data engineers.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing.
