Job Overview

Role Summary: This role focuses on power optimization for Snapdragon SoCs.

The successful candidate will work as a key member of the APPS Power Optimization Team to enhance power consumption efficiency in various mobile, compute and AR/VR products.

Primary responsibilities include finding innovative solutions for system-level power management, conducting hands-on performance and power studies, influencing hardware design to reduce power consumption and simplify power architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize power consumption in Android Mobile devices.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to optimize software power.
  • Collaborate with technical leads and peers to drive results and analyze outstanding issues.
  • Design tools to identify and debug power consumption issues on development platforms and commercial devices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Software Engineering.
  • Proficiency in embedded software development or Linux Device Driver Development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to approach problems at a system level.
  • Willingness to collaborate with software teams.
