Technical Support Specialist
A dedicated and skilled professional is required to provide top-notch technical support for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting software issues, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.

About the Role

This position involves providing technical assistance to customers via email and video conferencing. The successful candidate will work closely with product development and support specialists to resolve complex software issues and ensure that customer needs are met promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting Software Issues: Identify and resolve technical problems with our products using advanced diagnostic procedures and tools.
  • Customer Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills while maintaining friendly composure with external customers through video and phone interaction.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Communicate and provide knowledge transfer to other support agents on escalated calls and resolutions.
  • Documentation: Create and update technical support knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and support documentation.
  • Prioritization: Prioritize incidents, requests, and product questions to ensure all SLAs are met.

Requirements

The following qualifications and skills are essential for this role:

  • Technical Support Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical support in the software industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Certifications: A+ Certification, Network+, and Microsoft Certified - MCP beneficial.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of Windows 11, 10, Server 2022, and 2019 for hardware/software installation and configuration.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
