About Azure Infrastructure Engineer Role

Our organization is seeking an experienced Azure engineer to support a major cloud and data modernization initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure components, including Virtual Networks, Subnets, Network Security Groups, Private Endpoints, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Integration runtimes for Azure Data Factory and other data services.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
  • Establish secure connectivity with on-premise environments (VPN, ExpressRoute).
  • Support Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and App Services.
  • Implement security policies and access controls using Azure RBAC, Entra ID, and Azure Policy.
  • Develop backup, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
  • Support DevOps pipelines for infrastructure deployment using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and resolve infrastructure-related incidents.
  • Document infrastructure designs and operational procedures.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including 3+ years focused on Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong expertise in Azure networking, security, and core services.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform).
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell or Bash).
  • Experience implementing enterprise-grade security, identity, and monitoring solutions in Azure.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment.
  • Must be available to work at least 4 hours overlapping with U.S. Central Time (CT).
