Job Title: Cloud Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, scalable infrastructure on AWS while ensuring security best practices and cost optimization.

  • Design and implement auto-scaling strategies to ensure high availability and scalability of systems.
  • Lead container orchestration efforts using Docker and Docker Swarm, including creating optimized Dockerfiles, managing container networking, and implementing service discovery solutions for microservices architecture.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines primarily using GitHub Actions, focusing on automated testing, deployment, and rollback strategies for TypeScript-based applications.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana, while implementing logging solutions and establishing alerting thresholds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues related to system performance and reliability.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team is always working with the latest tools and best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cloud-native solutions, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience with Node.js ecosystem and TypeScript applications, including build processes and optimization for React and NestJS applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
