We are seeking a seasoned Business Growth Strategist to lead our Geographic Information System (GIS) operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional with expertise in GIS project management and software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GIS principles and software applications, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Craft and execute various projects ensuring compliance with established guidelines
  2. Collaborate with the GIS team to design technical courses for personnel training on computer applications tailored to client needs
  3. Promote our GIS services and products in the market
  4. Monitor fund allocations for assigned programs to ensure accuracy and fiscal responsibility
  5. Participate in meetings and workshops to gather information and convey key insights
  6. Prepare comprehensive materials to document activities and convey information
  7. Research software applications and hardware requirements to recommend suitable purchases
  8. Respond to inquiries to provide information and guidance
  9. Foster relationships with software/hardware providers to facilitate district activities
  10. Contribute to the design and development of GIS services and products

Requirements:

A degree in Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences, or Geophysics with basic knowledge of GIS software is essential. The ideal candidate resides within a reasonable distance from the working location and has experience in GIS projects.
