The primary function of this role is to handle all tax-related matters for the organization. This involves having a full grasp of Sales Tax practices and exemptions, as well as command over Income Tax Ordinance. The incumbent will be responsible for obtaining various admissible exemptions under the law, handling import and GST-related issues, and dealing with refunds from the Income Tax Department.

One of the key responsibilities of this position is to countercheck routine tax returns submitted by the company and perform complex tax research to provide benefits to the organization. Additionally, the incumbent will assist accounting staff members in client meetings where required, review tax accruals, analyze tax authorities' notices, and draft responses.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills. The incumbent will need to make presentations to management regarding any issues identified and update senior management regarding potential or actual changes in the tax environment.
