About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Power Business division as a Trainee Sales Engineer. This entry-level position is designed for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about sales and power systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Power Business portfolio, with a focus on generating revenue growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Interact with customers to understand their requirements and conduct site surveys to develop or verify scope of works and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain good business relationships through marketing and sales visits to customers, ensuring timely acquisition of orders.
  • Tender Preparation: Prepare and submit offers to clients in a timely manner with technically compliant Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) solutions.
  • Proposal Evaluation: Evaluate proposals received from OEMs and ensure technical compliance with client requirements.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
  • 0-3 years' experience in a relevant role or function.
  • The ability to travel extensively, visiting customers and conducting site surveys.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) Motors & Drives and Power quality solutions is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and a team player.
