Job Title: Financial Transaction Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Stay updated with income tax and sales tax regulations, ensuring all financial activities comply with current laws and filing requirements.
  • Utilize QuickBooks ERP for accurate posting of financial entries and maintenance of the general ledger.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial procedures and implement best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and product, to support financial decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights into financial transactions.
  • Support teammates in lending operations.
  • Ensure timely processing of payments, reimbursements, and disbursements.
  • Execute fund transfers (IFT and IBFT) accurately and ensure timely updates of bank books.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within the fintech or technology sector.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks ERP and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
  • In-depth understanding of income tax and sales tax regulations in Pakistan.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
