Account Payable Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as an Account Payable Assistant.

Job Description:

  • Review and verify incoming vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Match invoices to rate confirmation and relevant paperwork, guaranteeing seamless payment processing.
  • Enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring they are posted under the correct head of account, and reconcile vendor accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and process vendor payments in accordance with established policies and procedures, ensuring timely payment of invoices and maintaining good relationships with vendors.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or errors related to invoices, negotiating payment terms and resolving invoice discrepancies as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills in English.
  • ACCA/Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Prior internship or minimum 06 months of experience in accounts payable side.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
