DevOps Engineer Position

This role requires the candidate to possess strong technical skills, with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure support and a solid foundation in computer science.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and configure AWS and Azure environments for optimal performance and scalability.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Support: Assist in setting up and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve basic infrastructure and application issues to minimize downtime and maximize system reliability.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers and quality assurance teams to deploy and release software updates.
  • Data Management: Help maintain and back up databases such as MongoDB and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Automation and Scripting: Write scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or Python to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document processes and procedures to improve infrastructure reliability and facilitate knowledge sharing among team members.
  • System Health Monitoring and Incident Response: Participate in monitoring system health and responding to incidents to quickly identify and resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure support.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM) and Azure services (e.g., virtual machines, app services).
  • Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
  • Basic understanding of MongoDB and MSSQL administration or usage.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Good understanding of Git and version control principles.
