Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to gather data on industries, markets, demographics, trends, sales results, and competitor offerings.
  • Analyze competitor data including specifications, market share, pricing, and promotional materials.
  • Compile detailed reports with research findings and analysis to inform marketing strategies.
  • Provide written documents and verbal presentations to guide clients in creating new marketing plans and strategies.
  • Recommend tailored marketing approaches and budget allocation to achieve client sales goals.
  • Collaborate in developing new product and service offerings to enhance market presence.
  • Assist in crafting focused branding, positioning, and marketing tools for each product or service.
  • Work within allocated budgets to produce effective promotional materials and advertising opportunities.
  • Track sales and feedback, adjusting marketing strategies as necessary.
  • Establish methods to monitor client performance over time.
  • Oversee operational delivery and budgeting for all marketing, communications, membership, and events programs.
  • Develop and execute branded marketing campaigns incorporating traditional and digital media.
  • Create and implement a commercial strategy including sponsorship and broadcasting.
  • Analyze leisure, sports, and table tennis sector trends to ensure adaptability in strategies.
  • Understand and utilize CRM systems to support membership and participant engagement.
  • Support departments such as Development and Performance in driving marketing and communication initiatives.
  • Ensure diverse audience engagement through regular, positive, and consistent communication, measuring impact and effectiveness.
  • Develop the overall events and competitions strategy and delivery structure.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in marketing, media, or mass communication.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior marketing role.
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
