Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and scaling of high-traffic full-stack systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting solutions, solving complex coding challenges, mentoring engineers, and ensuring code quality, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Maintain Full-Stack Systems: Utilize Node.js, Next.js, and cloud tools (serverless/microservices) to create efficient and scalable systems.
  • Build High-Performance Frontends: Develop responsive frontends with React.js/Next.js, focusing on user experience and performance.
  • Optimize Database Schemas and Queries: Enhance database efficiency by optimizing schemas and queries for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Mentor Junior Developers: Guide junior developers through code reviews and workshops, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Streamline CI/CD Pipelines and Automate Infrastructure: Optimize GitHub Actions/Jenkins workflows and automate infrastructure setup using Terraform.
  • Ensure System Performance and Alignment: Monitor system performance and ensure alignment with architectural guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot Issues and Prototype New Tools: Identify and resolve issues, optimize APIs, and develop new tools to improve system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design Teams: Work closely with product and design teams to drive innovation and meet business objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years in full-stack development with expertise in Node.js, Next.js, and React.js.
  • Expertise: REST/GraphQL APIs and database tuning.
  • Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Docker/Kubernetes, and Redis.
  • Problem-Solving and Leadership Skills: Strong problem-solving and leadership skills to guide junior developers and drive technical initiatives.
  • Modern Frontend Tools: Experience with modern frontend tools (Webpack, Vite, Tailwind CSS).
