We are seeking a highly experienced NetSuite professional to join our team as a Senior Functional Consultant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business application consulting, including 5+ years of experience with NetSuite.
The Senior Functional Consultant will be responsible for providing quality and innovative solution leadership to our NetSuite practice by working with project teams to deliver NetSuite solutions within time and budget constraints. This role requires guiding customers to ensure proper use of NetSuite environments, designing and optimizing system processes based on customer business models and requirements, and resolving customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions that include NetSuite and third-party solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business needs to ensure the NetSuite solution meets customer objectives by combining industry-standard methodologies, product knowledge, and business acumen.
- Review functional feature gaps that may arise and devise appropriate solutions across the NetSuite ecosystem, considering budget, timeline, and system landscape.
- Perform end-to-end system testing, assist customers with completing user acceptance testing (UAT), and system rollout/cutover.
- Develop training plans for customer users and conduct training for customer and internal resources as needed.
- Work with project teams to address customer issues during and after implementation projects; may recommend non-native NetSuite solutions, including customizations and third-party solutions.
- Provide guidance to project teams and customers to ensure appropriate and long-term scalable use of NetSuite and third-party applications.
- Participate in initiatives to design, develop, and deploy product-grade custom applications that enhance and expand NetSuite functionalities.
- Ensure NetSuite practice expertise and its solution offerings are leveraged across customers and other lines of business when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of ERP functional consulting experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of NetSuite functional consulting experience.
- Minimum of 5 full-cycle NetSuite implementation projects as a functional or techno-functional consultant.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient at getting hands-on with technology and presenting concepts effectively at various levels internally or with customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in business requirements analysis, solution design, data analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end business process flows.
- Experience with integration platforms, which may include Boomi, Celigo, Mulesoft, Oracle Data Integrator, and Workato, as well as leading EDI platforms.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, computer science, or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and customers.
