Supply Chain Optimization Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Optimization Lead – 1 year contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Supply Planning: Ensure delivery of an optimal end-to-end supply plan for the assigned DRBU / Category, considering cash, cost, and service levers.
  • Scenario Management: Request, run, and approve scenarios for the DRBU / Category within defined levels.
  • Dashboards and Exception Handling: Review dashboards to highlight exceptions and drive or seek approval for actions to mitigate issues.
  • Inventory Policy Creation: Create and approve inventory stockholding or other relevant policies within defined levels.
  • New Segmentation Strategies: Develop and implement new segmentation strategies within defined levels.
  • Parameter Automation Policies: Create and approve parameter automation policies based on segmentation strategies within defined levels.
  • Planning Horizons: Define relevant planning horizons: frozen, scheduling, and planning.
  • Day-to-Day Planning Decisions: Make day-to-day planning decisions for the assigned DRBU / Category.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and change management to deliver sustainable change and operational vision.
  • Planning Master Data: Ensure all planning master data is complete and accurate across systems.
  • Talent Development: Lead a team of three, overseeing end-to-end planning functions across multiple areas.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years' experience in planning, logistics, NPI, with manufacturing and commercial experience as an advantage.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience leading small, diverse teams.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical and Digital Skills: Strong analytical and digital skills.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Knowledge of supply chain processes and metrics.
  • Information Systems Skills: Strong knowledge in IWS, CI tools, and agile concepts.
  • Leadership Capabilities: Proven leadership capabilities, including anticipating and shaping the future, resilience, decision-making under ambiguity, curiosity and seeking new ideas, simplifying complex processes, empowerment at all levels, developing teams and individuals, high standards and delivering results.
  • Education: University degree, preferably in a supply chain-related major.
  • Additional Skills: Advanced planning system mastery as an advantage, experience with ERP or planning systems, experience in FMCG or consumer electronics supply chains.
