Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Cloud Support Engineer. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries generated through various channels
  • Troubleshoot application and product issues in a timely manner
  • Cultivate strong knowledge of DigitalOcean systems and adapt quickly to changes
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams to enhance the customer experience
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions
  • Manage incidents and escalations efficiently
  • Combat platform-related fraud and abuse
Requirements
  • A strong background in cloud technology and Linux systems is essential
  • A passion for technology and customer support is necessary
  • Strong analytical skills and pattern recognition abilities
  • Prior experience in similar environments in Customer Success or Solutions Architecture roles
  • Excellent communication skills are required
  • The ability to balance multiple priorities and set realistic expectations
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in areas like Linux, Debian, Ubuntu, Django, etc.
  • Networking and Storage expertise
  • Virtualization: KVM, Xen
  • Experience with one or more database engines (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB)
