Senior Financial Leadership Role

This position requires a seasoned finance professional to oversee key financial operations and lead the implementation of IFRS 17 across the organization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, including notes and supporting documents, for conventional and takaful business.
  • Produce monthly management accounts and finalize schedules related to investments, solvency, fixed assets, intra-company settlements, SECP returns, unclaimed dividends, due from/to companies, reinsurance, leasing, premiums, claims, and commissions.
  • Establish and implement internal controls to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Reconcile, investigate, correct, and adjust books of accounts.
  • Supervise routine financial tasks and develop controls for data accuracy and reliability.
  • Review receipts, payments, adjustments, tax returns, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and finalize corporate tax returns and coordinate with tax advisors.
  • Leverage technical expertise in IFRS 17 to drive organizational compliance and implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IFRS 17 processes and ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain control frameworks aligned with IFRS 4 and Solvency standards.
