Peer Reviewer for Gastroenterology and Hepatology

The ideal candidate will possess a Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in the field, with a proven track record of publications in reputable academic journals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing manuscript novelty and evaluating study design and methodology
  • Conducting a thorough literature review and verifying relevant citations
  • Analyzing results and conclusions, ensuring they are supported by data and significant to the field
  • Providing constructive feedback to authors, highlighting flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
  • At least two publications in the last two years in the field
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable
