Job Description:

The role of a Production Planner is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of production plans, aligning with business goals and optimizing plant efficiency.

As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production schedules that meet customer demands while minimizing losses. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align the Master Business Plan, considering plant capacities and business needs.

  • Manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand forecasts, capacity, and material availability.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production output vs. plan and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Coordinate with material planners to ensure availability of raw materials and components.

You will also be involved in analyzing performance data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain roles, preferably in FMCG.
  • Proven experience with MRP systems and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Just-In-Time (JIT), and other production strategies.
