Job Title: Senior Construction Project Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to budget, coordinate resources, and resolve issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in project management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with building regulations and codes.
  • Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, promoting a safe working environment and adhering to quality standards.
  • Select tools, materials, and equipment, managing inventory and maintaining optimal levels of stock.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance, delivering high-quality results within specified timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor work progress on a daily basis, identifying and addressing emerging issues promptly.
  • Prepare reports pertaining to job status, providing accurate and timely updates to stakeholders.

Requirements and Skills:
  • Proven working experience in construction management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods, including Building Information Modelling (BIM) and other relevant technologies.
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process, from design to delivery.
  • Familiarity with construction management software packages, including project scheduling and resource allocation tools.
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
