At Bureau Veritas, we are seeking a talented Microbiologist to join our team. This is a full-time on-site role for a laboratory professional in Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to laboratory work, quality control, using laboratory equipment, and conducting microbiology tests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform food, water, and environment microbiology testing as per defined SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for internal and external audits.
  • Manage lab inventory according to lead-time requirements.
  • Implement equipment preventive maintenance plans and calibration programs as per ISO 17025:2017 requirements.
  • Participate in micro-lab proficiency testing and inter-lab comparisons as per defined frequencies.
  • Develop testing competence and maintain records for all lab activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of laboratory experience and relevant testing skills.
  • Awareness of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and technical knowledge of quality control processes.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and its operation.
  • Proficiency in microbiology testing and analysis.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, time management, and teamwork skills.
