Financial Reporting Specialist

This role involves preparing and delivering comprehensive financial reports to the management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering financial and operational data from all business units, consolidating this data to create streamlined reports, and maintaining schedules and supporting documentation. Additionally, they will perform detailed analysis of various finance functions to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Budgeting & Forecasting
The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting weekly financial projections, reviewing and evaluating project budgets, grants, and contract implementation plans, and monitoring budget controls across all regions. They will also review and validate business development plans to ensure feasibility and financial alignment.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
In this role, you will assist finance teams with effective cash flow management by providing timely analysis and recommendations. You will maintain a continuously updated record of cash flow positions and working capital requirements for all regions and business units. This includes ensuring real-time tracking of cash flow activities, identifying any gaps or issues that may require management's attention.
Other Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will execute additional tasks or special projects as assigned by the reporting manager. They must demonstrate flexibility to support evolving business needs and contribute to broader organizational goals when required. Deadline-oriented, the ideal candidate can manage multiple tasks and deliver results under tight timelines.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have 3+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting. You should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including financial models, dashboards, and data analysis tools. Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint are also necessary. Experience with valuation methods, such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), is highly desirable. Additionally, you should be able to prepare and maintain reporting templates and performance tracking tools. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
