Business Development Director

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive our business development strategy and lead our sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the IT services landscape, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in business development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including emerging trends and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align business development goals with overall company strategy.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and sectors for business expansion.
  • Analyze market data to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored IT solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts with clients, ensuring terms are favorable for both parties.
  • Business Growth:
  • Drive the business growth process from lead generation, achieving and exceeding revenue targets by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with product development and technical teams to ensure client needs are met with innovative IT solutions.
  • Leadership and Mentoring:
  • Mentor and guide junior business development staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development within the IT services sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, software development, and managed services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
