Logistics Operations Manager

This role involves overseeing the logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of products to clients and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. RFQ Management: Process and review RFQs received from clients, float RFQs to suppliers, negotiate competitive rates, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  2. Purchase Order Management: Raise purchase orders for selected suppliers with meticulous attention to detail, track and manage purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  3. Supplier Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring they meet standards and are prepared to fulfill client needs.
  4. Quotation Creation: Create and deliver accurate quotations to clients, incorporating appropriate margins and ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  5. Inter-department Coordination: Ensure cross-functional coordination, resulting in smooth execution of operations.
  6. Stock Level Management: Monitor and manage stock levels to maintain them above the safety net, especially for clients with blanket POs.
  7. Periodic Audits: Conduct periodic audits to ensure consistency between inventory management systems and warehouse management systems.
