Job Title:

Assistant Manager - Supply Chain Operations

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting the Manager in supply chain activities, including managing vendor information and coordinating procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Enlist new suppliers in the Oracle ERP system and verify their active taxpayer status.
  2. Create and categorize vendor accounts in Oracle ERP and prepare documentation for releasing payments.
  3. Add new supplier sites to existing vendor accounts in Oracle ERP and update vendor information as needed.
  4. Update existing vendor records in Oracle ERP upon request, including address, contact, and other relevant details.
  5. Support in deactivating vendor accounts that have been debarred or blacklisted and coordinate with relevant departments and IT for updates.
  6. Assist in restoring vendor accounts after debarment periods and inform departments accordingly.
  7. Handle correspondence with vendors, contractors, and departments to resolve record and case file queries.
  8. Prepare and provide status reports on capital budget items, service contracts, and store stock requirements by extracting data from Oracle ERP.
  9. Create new item codes in the Item Master Oracle Database and ensure proper descriptions and categorizations.
  10. Assist in preparing purchase requisitions based on procurement needs and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  11. Ensure timely completion of tasks and responsibilities and comply with risk management frameworks and participate in risk management activities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in supply chain operations.
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with PPRA rules and regulations preferred.
