Supply Chain Expert Job Summary

This role is a key position at our organization, overseeing the entire supply chain process. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with experience in procurement, logistics, and warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement & Purchasing:
    • We are seeking a skilled professional to develop sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate contracts to achieve cost, quality, and service goals.
    • The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure specifications and budgets are met.
  • Import and Export Operations:
    • The Supply Chain Expert will be responsible for managing all aspects of import and export processes, including customs clearance, freight forwarding, and documentation.
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies and logistics providers to ensure smooth international shipments and deliveries.
  • Warehousing & Material Dispensing:
    • The expert will oversee warehouse operations, ensuring proper receipt, storage, segregation, and dispensing of raw, packaging, and general materials.
    • Implement inventory control measures to manage stock levels, minimize loss, and avoid overstocking or shortages.
  • Supplier & Inventory Management:
    • We are looking for a professional who can develop and maintain strong supplier relationships for strategic sourcing and supply continuity.
    • Monitor supplier performance and conduct audits and evaluations.
  • Team Leadership & Cross-functional Coordination:
    • The Supply Chain Expert will lead and mentor a team of procurement, logistics, and warehouse personnel.
    • Foster collaboration across departments to ensure alignment in procurement, production planning, and quality assurance.
