Junior SEO Specialist Job Description
  • The key responsibilities of this role include conducting thorough SEO audits and implementing technical SEO fixes in collaboration with the development team to address site speed, mobile optimization, and indexing issues.
  • To optimize website pages, the candidate will work on title tags, meta descriptions, H1/H2 headings, alt text, and schema markup.
  • Performing keyword research and optimizing existing product pages and new content are also essential tasks for this position.
  • Creating and publishing SEO-friendly blog posts (at least 2–4 per month) is another critical responsibility.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for building backlinks through outreach, guest posting, and directory submissions.
  • Monitoring website traffic, keyword rankings, and user behavior using Google Analytics & Google Search Console is a crucial aspect of this role.
  • Additionally, preparing weekly and monthly SEO performance reports is an essential duty.

Requirements:

  • A basic understanding of SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ubersuggest, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
  • Knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO practices.
  • Strong research and writing skills are necessary for creating high-quality blog content.
  • Familiarity with WordPress/Shopify optimization is preferred but not mandatory.
  • The ability to coordinate with developers for technical fixes is essential.
  • 0–1 year of SEO experience is recommended, although fresh graduates with relevant knowledge can also apply.
