Entry-Level Software Tester

We are seeking an entry-level software tester to join our team in Gujrat, India. This is a contract position with accommodation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain experience in the software testing field.

As an Entry-Level Software Tester, your main responsibility will be to test and evaluate software applications to ensure they meet quality standards. You will work closely with the development team to identify and report bugs or issues. The role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Test Software Applications: Evaluate software applications for functionality, usability, and performance.
  2. Identify Bugs: Identify and report bugs or issues promptly.
  3. Collaborate with Team: Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  4. Create Test Plans: Create test plans and execute test cases based on project requirements.
  5. Document Results: Document test results and provide feedback for improvements.
  6. Stay Updated: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Experience with testing tools like Selenium or Jira is a plus.
  3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work independently and in a team.
  5. Excellent communication skills.
  6. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
