Job Title: Data Insights Specialist

Our organization is seeking a detail-driven and analytical individual to support the development and maintenance of data analytics solutions. This role involves defining and validating data requirements for large-scale healthcare datasets, ensuring data accuracy and usability for performance measurement, risk adjustment, quality reporting, and care coordination analytics.

The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills, a solid understanding of healthcare data (including claims, EHR, and clinical quality measures), and experience translating business needs into clear technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical data requirements that support Value-Based Care initiatives.
  • Translate regulatory and clinical program specifications into structured requirements suitable for implementation in data analytics platforms.
  • Develop data requirement documents, source-to-target mappings, and validation frameworks for healthcare data.
  • Design and validate SQL queries in data analytics systems to support dashboards, financial models, and population health analytics.
  • Conduct rigorous data validation and profiling to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and conformance with CMS, NCQA, and HEDIS standards.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and QA to verify the proper implementation of data models and pipelines.
  • Conduct audit, compliance, and performance reviews by providing structured documentation and ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Maintain data dictionaries, lineage diagrams, and technical documentation for data analytics products and reporting logic.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Technical Analyst, or Business Analyst in a healthcare technology or analytics setting.
