Optimizing E-commerce Performance Specialist

This role focuses on enhancing e-commerce performance by analyzing data, identifying problems, and implementing pricing strategies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure initial pricing and auto-repricing logic using advanced tools.
  • Analyze aged inventory and apply markdowns, promotions, and pricing adjustments to maximize revenue.
  • Launch and manage targeted marketing campaigns, including coupons, Lightning Deals, 7-Day Deals, and seasonal strategies.
  • Input invoice-based costs in a comprehensive inventory management system.
  • Monitor and improve inventory health metrics, such as sell-through rates, aged stock levels, and Buy Box suppression.
  • Audit pricing reports to address underperforming products and optimize pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect profit margins while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Research competitor pricing and align pricing strategies with market trends.
  • Identify opportunities for liquidation or price adjustment by category, brand, or season.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups) for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and pricing tools for optimal pricing decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement.
  • Attention to detail and excellent prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Experience with repricing tools and platforms like Informed.co.
  • Familiarity with Amazon marketplace reporting and analytics tools.
  • Understanding of the Amazon Buy Box algorithm and its implications for pricing strategy.
