Job Title: DevOps Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in infrastructure automation and deployment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cloud service provider pricing models, tracking server rates, and ensuring optimal utilization of our infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with public cloud providers, including cost management tools and familiarity with cloud procurement models. Strong understanding of infrastructure monitoring, cost tracking, and utilization reporting is also required.

The following skills and qualifications are necessary for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering role
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc.)
  • Containerization and orchestration knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze cloud service provider pricing models
  • Track and document infrastructure costs, utilization metrics, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Maintain a centralized, updated infrastructure inventory
  • Work closely with finance and procurement teams for budgeting, vendor negotiations, and invoicing clarity
  • Recommend rightsizing and reallocation based on usage patterns and forecasting
