Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Operations Supervisor to oversee daily production activities and ensure efficient output. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Production Planning: Plan and control production activities according to jobs, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting client specifications.
  2. Quality Control: Coordinate with other departments to ensure production meets required parameters and quality standards.
  3. Troubleshooting: Address all production problems by taking necessary action or referring to senior management for guidance.
  4. Team Management: Ensure effective utilization of manpower, maintain discipline, and foster harmonious relations within the department.
  5. Inventory Management: Maintain and improve inventory levels without compromising quality, in collaboration with Purchases and Stores departments.
  6. Priority Setting: Establish production priorities for engraving jobs and provide technical assistance to employees as needed.
  7. Resource Planning: Plan the requirement of production, electrical spares, equipment, and tools well in advance.
  8. Interdepartmental Liaison: Maintain close communication with Electrical, Mechanical, and Purchase departments.
  9. Safety Measures: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain an optimum level of spares in stores.
  10. Administrative Control: Exercise effective administrative control over all production activities and implement Quality Management System efficiently.
  11. Reporting: Generate monthly production reports and compile annual production reports at the end of the year.
  12. Staff Management: Responsible for hiring and termination of employees at the engraving department.
