Job Description

The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement, including vendor contract negotiation, inventory management, and purchasing obligation fulfillment.

Key Tasks
  • Negotiates and manages vendor contracts to ensure best possible cost for acquisitions
  • Monitors and controls inventory levels to prevent excesses and implement balancing resolution steps as necessary
  • Assists Supervisor, Buyers, and staff with problem resolution related to vendor performance, product performance, or invoice issues/discrepancies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related function
  • MBA (concentration in Supply Chain preferred)
  • Proven track record of success in procurement or supply chain management
  • Strong leadership and team skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
