Roles & ResponsibilitiesEmployee Onboarding Specialists are accountable for delivering engaging content that helps employees develop their skills and knowledge. They conduct informative training sessions, assist new team members with their onboarding schedule, and contribute to the growth of the onboarding program.
The Instructional Designer/Facilitator, Onboarding role is a lead position on the onboarding facilitation team, reporting to the Sales Onboarding Program Manager. Specialists deliver training content to new team members, respond to stakeholder requests, and lead initiatives to keep the program's curriculum relevant and engaging.
Ideal candidates have experience working in or developing an onboarding program that delivered value to new team members from acceptance through to hitting their sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver training to entry- to mid-level front-line CS and sales staff
- Support multiple classes of new team members from initial onboarding through the ramp period
- Coach new team members on sales strategy and process adherence as they advance through early stages of on-the-job experience
- Conduct exercises and activities enhancing the learning process
- Schedule training sessions
- Intake facilitator requests and align with the Sales Onboarding Program Manager on launching new onboarding initiatives
- 2+ years building content and facilitating training across a multi-site sales organization
- 2+ years of progressive responsibility in enablement, L&D, or training roles in a high-growth, B2B, SaaS organization
- Experience expanding or working within an onboarding program delivering value to new team members through the ramp period
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's Degree in related fields
- Solid knowledge of corporate training techniques
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to build relationships and promote a work environment focused on team development and coaching
