Role Overview

Our team seeks a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to design and maintain our backend infrastructure, build data products, and solve complex problems using automotive datasets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy core backend systems and data products with expertise in Python frameworks like Flask and FastAPI.
  • Build scalable, high-performance infrastructure to support data-heavy applications with efficient resource utilization.
  • Maintain backend systems for reliability, up-time, and data accuracy while optimizing their performance and scalability.
  • Oversee production systems to prevent technical issues and resolve them promptly when they occur.
  • Develop automated data scraping pipelines that leverage proprietary datasets to deliver value to customers.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders across the company to achieve shared goals.
  • Mentor junior developers, guiding them on best practices, code quality, and career growth.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Python with a solid understanding of clean code principles and a strong focus on maintainability.
  • Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, and Scrapy for data scraping.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux systems and SQL databases, including PostgreSQL or MySQL in production environments.
  • Experience designing, building, and supporting backend systems from scratch, including managing live production systems.
  • Familiarity with data scraping techniques and large-scale data processing, with self-driven productivity in remote work environments.
  • Effective communication skills, enabling collaboration across time zones and with global teams.
